About Me

This is myself and my BFF from the Monterey Bay Aquarium
~~last time~~ the only time I was in SF

Hi! I'm Kate ~~and I'm a Taurus, I enjoy long walks on the beach and~~ I'm a 28 year-old undergraduate student. I'm studying Speech Language Pathology with the hopes of working with the adult stroke-suffering population.

I'm married to a lovely goofball and we share our home with a beagle (aka "Worst Dog" or "Direbeagle") and a cat called Lola. I spend my free time obsessing over books and type, I have an ampersand problem and my childhood dream is to meet Wil Wheaton. I am currently experiencing a mild problem with strikethrough, so please bear with me.

I enjoy all things Stars, be they trekking, warring, or gazing. My favorite authors are J.R.R. Tolkien,
Gabriel García Márquez and I'm quite fond of George R.R. Martin.

I was chaotic-neutral but I haven't played since 3.5e; I am a Chaos Muppet and #TeamGrover.

I tried to do a Day Zero a four years ago and I guess the closet optimist in me is showing.
